Odyssey Rossie II Belly
How does it look behind the ball?
The Odyssey Rossie II belly is a classic D shaped putter with soft lines.
It's quite a bit deeper from top to base which you might think would make
it look and feel a bit cumbersome, but that's really not the case. We did find
it a little difficult to line up since it has almost no straight lines, but that
doesn't last long.
Whilst the Odyssey Rossie II belly not a delicate delight of a putter it does have a nice look. The
combination of aimlines gives you something to go on when it comes to alignment
and we think you'll find it a joy to look at and to use.
How does it feel?
As with all belly putters the feel isn't as quite good as you'd expect as with a short putter. The extra weight makes the putter feel just a little dead.
But don't let this put you off trying!
This putter does give you plenty of feel and feedback to go on and interestingly,
I got the best distance control I've ever experienced with this belly putter.
People will tell you that belly putters are great for short putting (and they really are), but I found my results improving most notably on longer putts with this putter. It was a real, but very pleasing surprise!
How does it roll the ball?
The roll is a real strength of the Rossie II. If our test is anything to go by, you'll find it hard to hit a bad putt with it from the point of view of the roll.
To put it briefly, I'd describe the Rossie's roll as: pure, easy-to-achieve and "gentle rather than firey". What more could you want?

An absolutely classical belly putter with great feel and and roll and a pleasing (if unspectacular) appearance.
You don't see the Odyssey Rossie II belly on ebay and other used racks much which is probably because owners don't want to part with them very often.
